We've got a few more special interviews lined up over the next week or so, before more normal service resumes for a period. Without giving too much away, the next two are focused on games that are directly influenced or inspired by particular eras of gaming.
So on that note, we want to ask a couple of questions:
Which series do you really hope would be resurrected?
If you could go back to any retro era and magically create a sequel on that console, what would it be and why?
We’ll give you our answers when we’ve heard some of yours.
I'd love it if there was a Warcraft 4 - but excluding all the WOW storyline. Like an alternative dimension or something. Most games that I wanted a sequel for did get one though. Would be interested in a sequel for some lesser known games like Reus, battle chasers & sang-froid.
No not the most recent one. I think it was a PS3 remaster that I played? (as the original was on PS2 but I missed that one). Didn't get round to playing ICO though!
It's so worth playing though - it's a piece of art and not too similar to other games. I guess I would say its a bit of a mix of prince of persia with zelda with a very artistic and epic feel.
1. I'm thinking Dino Crisis or Streets of rage. It would be good to see what spin they could put on the with today technology.
2. I love Final Fantasy 7 and have always wondered what if they made a second part to it. So the 1990's and the Final Fantasy 7 sequel on the PlayStation.
I'm looking forward to seeing more interviews, the last one was great.
Don't know if you've played Streets of Rage 4 which came out 2 years ago, it's absolutely quality! You also really, really need to play FFVII remake when you get the chance, if you want a sequel then I think this will build up to it.
As for Dino crisis, never played it, what was it like?

Shadow of the Colossus needs a spiritual successor or sequel someday!
Did you play the recent HD remaster? Apparently it was really good, but I've never played through that or Ico!

I'll give it a go. Have you played breath of the wild?
Not yet but I would if I had the console. Looks like a good one.
Bubsy 3D needs a sequel obviously - the fans are desperate.
Seems to be title after title I haven't played in this 😂 do remember it though!
